Temperature Sensor

The same rugged puck, used where the question is heat. It trends surface and ambient temperature on motors, bearings, and enclosures, and it does not pretend to be a vibration analyzer.

TrackBeat temperature sensor, the same sealed puck used for the vibration sensor.

Heat, on its own

Absolute temperature and how fast it is rising. That is the overheating check, without a spectrum attached.

Drop it in beside the others

Same housing, same magnetic or stud mount, same sub-GHz radio. A point that only needs thermal trending does not get a vibration sensor forced onto it.

It still reports through the receiver

Battery powered. One outbound connection from the gateway. Nothing new to open on the plant firewall.

Where it belongs

Four places. Heat is the question.

  1. Motors and bearings Surface temperature on the housing, when heat is the early sign and vibration is already covered elsewhere.
  2. Enclosures Ambient and skin temperature on cabinets and housings that are not rotating equipment.
  3. Same install External mount, on a running machine, in under a minute. IP65 / IP67, so washdown and coolant are in scope.
  4. Same network Sub-GHz back to the Gateway already on the wall.
